What he’s not telling you is that some guy at a desk will make a decision that you J. Smith were looking at the wrong website, add you to a no-fly list and suddenly you can’t buy a gun, rent a car or get a job and maybe one day eat. And it might not have been J Smith at all.

No judge, no process, just a system that won’t be near 100% accurate.

Darth Obola is just dying to say “It is with great reluctance that I have agreed to this calling. I love democracy. I love the Republic. Once this crisis has abated, I will lay down the powers you have given me!

He wants it so bad, and feels he is so close he can taste it.

“nothing’s prohibiting him from doing that, even though the FBI knows who that person is.”

“who that person is” is someone who doesn’t march lockstep with Obama’s totalitarian agenda. It’s not about guns-it’s about crushing every voice raised against him, which he takes extremely personally.

Obama: “I got people who we know have been on ISIL Web sites ... but because of the National Rifle Association, I cannot prohibit those people from buying a gun.”

Interesting. I’ve never heard the U.S. Constitution referred to as the “National Rifle Association” before. Still, if the National Rifle Association rather than the Constitution is what’s actually keeping Obama from prohibiting gun ownership based solely on which web sites folks visit, then all I can say is thank God for the National Rifle Association.

I have gone to these terrorist websites to find stupid kids. Their parents asked for my help. One kid was abducted (bad choice of words) by the parents before she got on a plane. I ain’t no terrorist.

When is someone going to invoke the 25th Amendment on this sick, drug-addled idiot and declare him unfit to serve?

He should have been impeached years ago, but the continued drug-fueled bloviating is getting noxious... I really believe he is not capable of serving in the office of President at all, and that someone (i.e. ValJar) is orchestrating everything, and telling him what to say and do. Its been going on for years, but it is now getting hard to hide his absolute lack of normal human mental facilities.

That this has been allowed to continue, and is still being allowed to continue, says a lot about our government and the GOPe-controlled Congress.

When the lid finally blows off all this, it is going to be spectacular, absolutely mind-numbing for those in the FedGov.

Probably the most telling sentence in the “hole” piece:

“In the Heller decision, the Supreme Court has recognized gun ownership as an individual constitutional right. You may not like it, but it’s settled case law at this point.”

i.e.’ “....AT THIS POINT”. Anyone else think so? As in, until hildabama appoints another libby judge to the scotus.

Obama: “I got people who we know have been on ISIL Web sites ... but because of the National Rifle Association, I cannot prohibit those people from buying a gun.”

So President Obama wants to prevent NSA, CIA, DOD and FBI agents from buying guns? I doubt it. So what he is really saying is that he wants to see what people read, and then decide to take away their rights based on that information plus some other factors he gets to pick. I wonder if he will include whether or not the person reading the ISIS website has Islam as their religion? Or maybe he'll just give everybody that works for the government a pass. But that didn't work out so well at Fort Hood, did it.

Is he OK with banning the ownership of firearms by Muslims who visit an ISIS web site? If he can convince Congress, he could have the laws on firearms purchases changed to add a couple of entries to the 4473:

(1) Are you a Muslim? Y/N

(2) Have you ever read material posted or authored by by ISIS? Y/N

So why doesn't President Obama propose that? Because he knows it would never pass Congress, or a Supreme Court challenge. And it would be an affront to our Constitution.

Of course President Obama also says that temporarily halting immigration from certain areas or religious groups would be an affront to our nation's values. But in his speeches, as a "constitutional scholar" taking away people's rights because of what they read along with some other hidden factors (e.g. because he wants to) is fine.

That tells you all you need to know about the modern liberal mind.

Please say “ISIS” not “isil”.

That’s Hussein’s acronym.

A Freeper shouldn’t use it.

Obama cannot be criticized or held to account by our current cowardly congress because of the color of his skin. That’s all it is. They’re afraid of a black man and charges of “racism”. Chickenshits is all they are.
