The Honduran mother who delivered what is believed to be the first baby to be born with a Zika virus-related condition in the New York tri-state area flew to America to specifically seek treatment. In an interview with Fox News Latino, the young mother whose name has not been released publicly, explained that her initial symptoms were 'underestimated' by medical doctors in her native land. She said that a rash appeared on her in December and that she was also feverish around the same time. The 31-year-old woman decided to see another doctor in the Central American nation, but then decided to seek treatment in the US and possibly entered the country on a tourist visa 33 days ago.

Mother of Zika baby born in New Jersey says she flew to America to seek treatment after doctors in Honduras 'underestimated' her symptoms - and the U.S. citizen baby will cost AT LEAST $1million to treat
So who pays for that? Has Obamacare got this covered?
A million bucks, you say?
Well, you know, if it saves ONE LIFE...and all that Leftist rot...
*Rolleyes*
Who gave this pregnant women a visa? It goes without saying she has no insurance. Even if her family are millionaires they will never pay.
Once born the Zika baby became a US citizen, and thereby entitled to free medical care, housing, food, therapy etc for life.
Expect many, many more to follow.
Now ship her back.
If she likes her baby, then she will take it with her.
America has become the dumping ground of all sorts of refuses to the world, started from the admin of Bush senior I should say, but out of control under Obama.
Trump's going to END the 'anchor' baby scam..
I’m ready for Trump to add Latin Americans to his Muslim no-admittance list until we get this threat and protections from the costs thereof under control.
This indolent dullard and all like her must be excreted from our Nation if we are to survive.
By trebuchet, preferably.
Who knows. When this zika-citizen grows-up, the DIMocRATs most likely will run it for President.

While I feel very badly for this woman and her child, I fail to understand why it is an obligation - legally or morally - for the people of the United States to pay for her problems. We have enough of our own, not the least of which is the fact that our entire economy is only being kept afloat by the fiction of Fed stimulus - without which the federal government would have defaulted upon its massive debt ($20 trillion admitted, likely over $150 trillion including unfunded liabilities), and the ENTIRE WORLD ECONOMY would collapse shortly thereafter. How many needy people would THAT create? Hundreds of millions, at least.
Additionally, we have literally millions of people here - who are US citizens, or who legally came here according to our rules - who are sick, unable to work, need re-training, etc., etc., etc., who need the help of the US taxpayer.
Charity begins at home. Until and unless we are able to get back on a reasonably sound financial footing, and until and unless we help the people HERE that need help, we should take people like this lady and return her - politely - to her native land. She should bring a message with her - the door to America is closed if you are seeking a handout and weren’t born there.
No individual, no company and no country can possibly take care of everyone who needs help - plus it is a fact that the more people you help, the more “needy” people show up asking for help of their own. People used to deal with their own problems, now they come to Uncle Sucker for help. Sorry, those days are over, we simply cannot afford to do this any more.
“By trebuchet, preferably.”
Fixed it.
Right over the wall!!!
Logisticaly, the trebuchet needs only to make the payload clear the fence.
After that, it’s all gravy.
A bloody bag of gravy, that is.
I hope Trump ends the anchor baby scam. A couple weeks ago I was driving through a Tustin condo complex and I saw three Chinese women walking from the nearby shops, all three looking very “foreign” the way they were arm in arm and the way they dress, all about nine months pregnant. It looked to me like birth tourism.
