And, does it include legal and illegal aliens?

What about comparisons to the past when married women were not expected to have jobs - when did those numbers get folded into the totals?

The Labor Participation Rate is of the ages of normal employment. It excludes children (to what age, I don’t recall), and those of normal retirement age.
