I grew up in Wilbraham, you may have heard of it, maybe not. The big claim to fame was it’s the Home of Friendly’s Ice Cream.

Oh yeah...Was introduced to Friendly's in the late 60's while in HS in the Berkshires. Returned to the area in the late 70's for grad school in Springfield. I remember always smiling at the Friendly's logo built into the hill on their property on the Mass Pike. I remember their peanut butter and jelly ice cream half gallons from the 60's...not a fan (because of the jelly) but liked their inventiveness when their was very little variety in other brands.
