I have some friends who moved to Gwinnett County (Lilburn) back in 1992. They regarded it as such a wonderful place and how it consistently fought to keep out MARTA and, thus, keep out the riff-raff. I guess Section 8 did the job that MARTA couldn’t do. After the gentleman retired in 2013, they moved to a brand new house in Cherokee County (Canton). He now says there is no Gwinnett County anymore, and refers to it as “DeKalb County East”.
