Maybe this is silly to mention but on Facebook, there is a page dedicated to “Lost Ballparks”, where people discuss the MLB ballparks of the past and share pictures and memories, etc. I can remember one day asking why Crosley Field in Cincinnati was retired in 1970 and wondering if it could have been kept and the general comments tended to include that the surrounding area was becoming dangerous crime wise and people really did not want to venture there to take in a ballgame.

The same was mentioned with Forbes Field in Pittsburgh and Connie Mack Stadium (Shibe Park) in Philadelphia. Yet another gift from Democrats running big cities like that for years.

Every major city our grandfathers and great grandfathers built has been destroyed by corrupt democrats.

Democrats get elected than proceed to run the places into the ground - - pulling out as much money for themselves and their friends as they can get. ]

Kind of like how Washington DC is run today..
