They do but right now their focus is on keeping the rank and file rather than adding to their ranks (growth has actually declined greatly the last 10 years according to a few people I know in the Church office building). Talking up the White Horse prophecy (even unofficially) will do a lot to keep people in the cult mindset.
Mormons are for Amnesty and a North American Union. It’s part of their “American Indians are the real Jews so open borders” or some such insane false teaching.
In other words Mormons like Mitt and Beck and their GOPe lackeys like David French — are against Trump because of Amnesty...
