It has become apparent the libs actually don’t mind black people killing each other and do absolutely nothing to stop it, simply because they need that issue to continually harp about “gun deaths”, as if these guns have minds of their own and are running around Detroit, Chicago, and Baltimore just willy nilly shooting people.

Any non-Chicago area freeper can go to that site and easily see that the overwhelming majority of murders and shootings in Chicago happen in three - five neighborhoods. Those neighborhoods are exclusively/almost exclusively black (as in the case of Auburn/Gresham and Austin) or black/latino mix.
Still, the overwhelming majority of shootings and murders are BLACK ON BLACK crime, which does NOT get the national attention of a single black on white, or white cop shoots neighborhood thug incident.
It is starting to remind me of the crack wars in the 80’s and 90’s. Why did that end? Was it longer sentences or a sufficient culling of the crack dealer population?

There is a an easy solution to this problem, since the gang's own the street, just have a little pow wow letting all the gang leaders know if the killing doesn't stop, each and every one of them will be put in a deep dark prison hole for a long, long, long time, until order is returned to the streets...

Suspend Habeas Corpus for all gang members...
Arrest them en masse until they get the point...
Lookit. Who really runs the city? The Pritzkers, that’s who. If they really wanted peace we would have it. They want the police staying busy looking after black on black crime rather than trying to solve real crime that the Pritzkers might be involved in.

There are probably a lot of factors. But one I think is that drug use can be modeled something like the 1918 flu. The flu swept through communities killing many. But the flu ends by having no new hosts to infect. The people who get it have already had it and are immune. There are people who are genetically unable to cope with certain drugs, be it alcohol or cocaine or whatever. Those people die fast or burn out. Others without the drug intolerant genes try it and for one reason or another don’t continue or are what doctors call highly functional addicts. (For example, a movie producer stoned out of his gourd but still producing hit after hit until he burns out. You probably know an alcoholic like this.)
Another factor is I suspect that it was new and it got much more coverage than other drugs. Therefore the impact to society and culture was blown out of proportion and the problem was never as big as it seemed.
Either or both are possible. It seems that there are several drugs with the potential for being instantly addicting. Meth, for example. But we aren’t running around screaming the sky is falling. This may be because the whole world is weary and a lot less excitable now. (Look! Drugs! Bodies! We’reallgonnadie!!!!!) Yawn. Anybody know what’s on HBO tonight?

Those fools better start at home as kids are a clean slate when born. By the time they attempt behavior change it is already a violent character trait. A job is not going to change a violent criminal into a law abiding citizen. Simple minded fools think a simple solution will result in 180 degree behavior change. The home breeds hate and victim status into the kids but refuses to acknowledge the logical outcome.
