Wow, what a photo..!
Very proud to say that my little brother was the CO that had this gentleman in his troop, and recommended him for considerations. My brother was quite shocked to see this make national headlines, and is quite proud of this young man. But, to paraphrase him “my mission is to look for the next one..”.
He is a far, far better man than I.
They both are.
That photo and his personal story is moving.
I’d be willing to bet he was not in the photo with the American black bitch## with the clinched fists at West Point, in uniform.
