Psalm, you crack me up. Smeagol is a priceless image, and so apt. I also recently saw Cruz compared to a monitor lizard— something about the neckless way he moves his head. Needless to say, the comparison stuck in my mind. Say this for Cruz: he evokes some colorful images.
