Many began to see through the façade that was Cruz.

For me, there was always something about Cruz that made me uneasy. It took a while, but I realized he was a tad too slick.

It wasn’t until after his win in Iowa that any serious vetting was done of him. That revealed connections to Goldman-Sachs, Bush family, and Council on Foreign Relations via his wife. For all the claims of being the most devout conservative, his history didn’t show that.

When Beck joined him in Iowa, his campaign seemed to turn from a high-road to sleeze — with the mailers (he denied) and similar low-road actions.

He could win caucus states, but not actual voting states.

The more WE saw, the less WE liked.

Half of the Republican politicians in DC ran as staunch conservatives, only to turn their backs on the electorate when they crossed the Potomac. Cruz was turning into another one of those. And the public backing from numerous GOP elites later in the primaries only increased the view that Cruz wasn’t so conservative.

You nailed it. Cruz was my favorite politician of all just a couple of years ago, but I started wondering about even him when he went to the border with Glenn Beck to give out teddy bears. Since then, it's been one stupid mistake after another, and he's not fooling anyone anymore except the completely blind, or crooked.

Trump is far from perfect, but he's the only one that seems truly committed to the issues that really matter right now like stopping immigration and slowing free trade, which is the tit that most of these politicians and radio personalities are sucking on.

Mark Levin: I’d rather fight with Romney than give Obama a 2nd term!
