President Obama is racing against the clock to cement a massive Pacific Rim trade deal that all of his potential successors oppose, with his administration eyeing a looming fight on Capitol Hill while starting to implement as much of the complicated pact as it can.

Remember when there was the Congressional debate about granting Obama fast track trading authority, the TPP would be subject to a straight up or down vote with no amendments allowable, the GOPe claimed the TPP would not be ready for a vote until after Obama leaves office. Of course once again the GOPe lied. I knew Obama when he went for authorization already had an agreement ready. Just another reason to vote for Trump to stick it to the lying GOPe.

All these entities control billions of dollars---and Obama is lying-in-wait for his share: foreign donations, lucrative insider trade deals from untapped resources, energy deals, telecom deals, arms sales, consultancies, million dollar honorarium...and so on and so forth.
