To my understanding, Charlotte passed an ordinance that forced private businesses to let men use their women’s exclusive areas, and allowed men to use the women’s publically owned sex exclusive areas. The NC law lets businesses choose if they want to let men use their women’s areas, like Target or Trump, and prohibits men from using the publically owned women’s areas.
