School play depicts rape, filthy language and public urination

Carnegie Vanguard High School’s one act play had a little something for everyone: depictions of male-on-male rape, male-on-female rape, filthy language, on-stage urination, and an actress who simulated wiping her private parts at center stage.

Oh yes, there was also a scene where a male cast member turned his back to the audience and dropped his pants, as fellow cast members deliver dialogue about the size of his appendage.

“People were disgusted and there was complete shock at what they had just seen,” he told me. “Elementary-aged children were exposed to this show.”

The district released a statement defending the theatrical production – noting they are “extremely proud” and they stand by the students “100 percent.”

Memo to Ted Cruz re NY/East Coast values
...pot called the kettle black, pot got nailed.
Great values on display, first indoctrinate the children, break down the nuclear family then you will be able to enslave the nation/the world.

The comments at the article talk about these kids living in broken families without food and showing the audience the world they live in, raising awareness. Wiki and the US News World Report listing for the school lists it as #10 in the Nation with only 22% "disadvantaged". 100% college bound, AP & Honor courses galore. Sounds like a liberal guilt trip factory.

And people from Texas actually talk about other parts of the nation as being filled with degenerates?

The answer to your question is NO.

I am certain that where ever you live is a utopian paradise.

from the article:

“The script has been thoughtfully modified to be appropriate for a broad, young-adult audience,” the district’s statement read. “Carnegie students have treated the script’s mature subject matter with admirable sensitivity, skill and professionalism.”

...script has been thoughtfully modified to be appropriate for a broad, young-adult audience...

So this was the MODIFIED VERSION? What was removed from the original script to make it ‘appropriate’ for a broad, young-adult audience??

It's at least sexual harassment of the student captive audience--- "creating a hostile learning environment" ---

Isn't there still a crime on the books called "Corrupting the Morals of a Minor"?

If the parents don't scream bloody murder, they're complicit, too.

Never said it was.

But as much as people down there love to point out how Texas make it seem like they have this stuff under control, or that no one would dare pull this stuff down there because the whole state will “raise hell”, it just is kind of ironic.

Those One Act plays are all sanctioned by the UIL and are chosen by a panel for use in all high schools. Most likely your state has approved this piece of filth, too. Do a search for whatever the UIL is called in your neck of the woods. Schools can’t play football until the school plays by the UIL rules. Can’t have a band competition that’s not done by the UIL. Can’t take your One Act play to contest without it being run by the UIL.

I’m guessing that’s a hoity toity school since they have equestrian sports.

I caught Rabbi Daniel Lappin making a great point about the filth of the left. Evidently, cleanliness is a biblical concept, therefore the reveling in filth by the left is actually an attack on Christianity and Biblical principles.

Here is a summary of what he said:

On the Biblical Principle of Cleanliness

“More households own a Bible in America than anywhere else in the industrialized world, except for Israel. So Israel and America naturally are the focus of the fury of the culture of the Koran, and one of the differences is that it is a Biblical value to celebrate cleanliness and hygiene. Water-borne sewage was invented in a Christian culture. There are many parts of the world that still haven’t bought into the concept. But by and large, when this was weighed up, when the culture of the Koran and many other parts of the world had an opportunity to weigh up what the west had achieved, they said, ‘You know what? I think we’re going to make bathrooms in Bombay and Beijing and Bangkok resemble bathrooms in Boston and Birmingham. That’s really what we’re going to do. Because you know what? You guys got it right. To be surrounded by your own bodily waste is really not a great idea.’ It’s a genius concept. And this is a concept that comes from Biblical western thinking. And the opposite of that is reveling in filth and ugliness. It’s not an accident that modern art in America, what has that become? You remember a horrible piece, you’ll pardon me, ‘art,’ called Piss Christ?” Rabbi Lapin said.

“And Virgin Mary in dung,” Glenn added.

“And the Brooklyn Art Museum. What is their focus and their obsession on bodily waste? It is the triumph of barbarism of western civilization,” Rabbi Lapin said.
