By me calculations, there are about 55 MILLION illegals in the USA today. Approximately one in six person here now.

Far more than 11 million.

It made sense and still could. The US cannot be great without people. Lots of people. But a free and prosperous people. We needed people to come and settle our lands before some other country did. We only offered them a chance to work and live their lives as they saw fit unmolested by an all powerful government. They came and generated enourmous wealth and our country prospered. Essentially you worked or died but what you earned was yours.

Now? We have an all powerful fascist state that is hell bent on impoverishing its citizens into submission. More people means less for each of us as we divvy up the ever shrinking pool of wealth.

Since the adoption of the 14th Amendment, all persons, except children of diplomats, born on U.S. soil are citizens. The only available remedy is another amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
