"The desert was my favorite place to play." Spent six years as a kid in the Mojave desert. Scorpions, tarantulas, snakes and lizards. Loved it!

Me too, we built forts in the mesquite bushes with tumbleweeds piled up and around. You had to be careful crawling in but it was so good the town drunk often slept there.
