As I’ve pointed out on similar posts, from 1963 to 1991 NATO had a tank competition the winner of which was awarded the Canadian Army Trophy. In the 17 times the competition was held the U.S. Army won it once. That’s half as many times that the Canadians, the Dutch, and the Brits won it. One third the number of times the Belgians won it. And one fifth the number of times the Germans won it. Maybe tank gunnery just isn’t your thing?
Maybe we just sent the wrong crews, since National Guard tankers beat their Regular U.S. Army counterpartsand crews from the U.S. Marine Corps and Canadian Armyat the U.S. Army’s 2016 Sullivan Cup. The winning tank crew consisting of an insurance adjustor, Pepsi truck driver, college student, and aspiring police officer.

I seem to remember a tank competition in 1991, in Kuwait, iirc.
There were tanks represented from virtually every country on earth, and the final score was US & Co.: thousands, opposition: zero.
Of course, back in those days we weren't as politically correct, or gender integrated, not so sensitive to people's feeeeeeeeeeeeeelings, so maybe those results were just thrown out, the match forfeited and had to be played over...
Now I can't remember...
