NOW, MEET THE RULES COMMITTEE. Will they change the rules and convince the delegates to go rogue?

Colorado:

Guy Short-Cruz (Hostile Anti-Trump)

Kendal Unruh -Cruz (Hostile Anti-Trump)

Utah:

Mike Lee-Cruz

Sharon Lee -Cruz

North Dakota:

Curly Haugland (suspect Cruz)

Sandy Boehler (suspect Cruz)

South Dakota:

Sandye Kading - (suspect Cruz)

David Wheeler - (suspect Cruz)

Louisiana:

Ross Little Jr.-Unknown

Gwen Bowen - Cruz

Washington, D.C.:

Bob Kabel -Rubio

Jill Homan - Rubio

Michigan:

Matt Hall -Trump

Judi Schwalbach- Kasich

Alabama:

Ed Henry-Trump

Laura Payne-Trump

If there are other delegates on this committee, clue me in. These are the only ones listed.

Another way the committee could have an impact on the 2016 convention includes making changes to the rules that bind delegates to specific candidates. John Yob, a Michigan-based Republican strategist who wrote a book about contested conventions, told Politico in March 2016, “The Rules Committee that is elected by the convention delegates will ultimately clarify binding. There is a disagreement.”

Have the rules governing the 2016 GOP Convention been established? No. But there is a process in place for how those rules are established and who will make those decisions.

Someone should remind the anti-Trump hacks what the GOPe has at stake here....this election cycle is like no other in history. The will of the people matters to the survival of the GOPe and its hacks. Gee, where is Mitch McConnell these days???

Wow. And I thought I was always the one with a hopeless cause. Good grief.

Sounds like they’re tired of winning before they even start

Stories like this are nonsense. It is over. Trump is the nominee. There is no deus ex machina that is going to snatch the nomination from Trump.

There are no conservatives plotting to stop Donald Trump at the GOP convention; there are probably plenty of members of the JV team of the Uniparty plotting and scheming, though.

The ‘true conservatives’ would gladly scuttle this election for sake of maintaining their sense of control over the party. This has always been about power, not ‘principles’.

I will tell you what, we the people are watching. Some political careers are on the line if any shenanigans take place at the convention.

Due to a little known rule regarding farts, conservatives are planting a spread of beans at the party reception.

Farting by a candidate will result in freeing all the delegates to vote for the candidate of their choice.

These aren’t “conservatives” they are uni-party Hillary supporters. That is the only alternative. You don’t like the GOP candidate that got more votes than any in history, and you try to cut him off at the knees? Who do you want? It’s a fairly easy question

No, the conservatives are proud of their nominee for the first time in years. I don’t care what these republicans want.

“Conservatives”?

The only opposition Trump has, are supporters of the current “for sale to foreign interests” clique which has leaderlessly led the GOP into the swamp during the entire last generation.

Trump is for AMERICA. It is so nice, to have a leader candidate, who is for our own country, for a change.

There are 2 delegates from each state/territory on the rules committee, so over 100 in total.
