He did what Newt told him to do.

Actually it was the Republican congress that forced him to rein in his spending, which is why we had a surplus during the short period at the end of his term. With Bush, you had 9/11 which pretty much blew everything to hell moneywise.

no, he was handed a good economy from 12 years of republican rule, and almost screwed it up before Newt took over and righted the sinking ship, at which point Bill wised up and decided to chase women for the rest of his term instead of screwing with the economy.

People think Mr. Bill boosted the economy, and they him back via his proxy.

No. Clinton hurt the economy. He was simply ‘there’ during the dot.com revolution. Under his presidency, the stage was set for the banking failures and lending nightmare of 2008.

The only thing positive under his watch was Newt Gingrich’s ‘contract with America’ that Clinton was forced to accept.

Bah.

No. He coasted on the Dot com bubble. They would have never balanced the budget otherwise.

But he’s not stupid, so of course he claims it.

Fear of Newt and scandals forced Clinton to leave the economy alone. Thus, it did pretty well.

His housing policy seemed to hurt the economy.

what exactly did Bill Clinton do to get the economy rolling so he continues to get media credit for his role?

The same thing Obama did to get a Nobel Prize. He’s a democrat. That’s all the media needs.

Yea, he forced the banking industry to give out mortgages like candy. The housing market drives much of the economy.

Never mind that that whole thing eventually backfired, but Bill was out of there by then so no one counts that.

Bill with his so called ‘great economy’ still put us into recession by the time he left office. The economy he inherited was booming because of the polices of Reagan and even Bush.

Democrats are liars through and through. They’ve twisted the ‘facts’ to make a fairy tale out of Clinton’s presidency.

One of the less appreciated factors that drove the economy was Ronald Reagan's tax reforms .

The Reagan tax reform initially put a big hit on all of the crazy tax shelter engineered projects designed to lose money, but once those problems were unwound, it really helped drive the economy

What’s the point of Hillary running to be the first vagina of the United States if she needs a man to do the real work? Kinda of contradicts her whole campaign theme doesn’t it?

From what I remember he just lucked out being President when the dot com boom happened. That and plus he took credit for Reaganomics. Ask yourself this: What did he do besides get BJs and go on fundraisers? Nothing. They guy did nothing which led directly to the deaths of 3000 people on 911.

There are professional people (and good people) who seriously believe Bill Clinton was the mastermind of the .com boom.
Which then crashed as soon as a Republican got in office.

Don’t underestimate this thinking.
Trump needs a plan to address it.

Creating USA worker jobs works in the Rust Belt.
It doesn’t help as much with affluent .com workers.

The dot com boom did that.

Hillary was funny, saying Trump promised jobs but didn't say how he'd do it.

Then promising that her husband would bring jobs without saying how he'd do it.

But how many people picked up on that?

Forced prostitution of minors for politicians, lawyers,
judges, increased after Clinton. It has been
so acceptable that the criminal illegals imported
by Obama and his complicit “US” Congress
FORCE minors into prostitution.

Thank you, Mr. ImpeachedPOTUS.
Thank you, complicit Congress.

Is that legal for a President to just put their spouse in charge of something like the economy?
