After all, it certainly sounds plausible, likely even. For that, we can lay the blame squarely on bammy. He has spent 7+ years coddling and sucking up to muslims and various middle eastern countries. He has a 7+ year track record of ineptitude and bungling "learn on the job" (if only he and his flunkies had learned something) foreign policy. So even if it is all a lie, everyone believes it could have happened.
Iran is saying it because they have no respect for Obama and enjoy insulting him.
Because the Iranians have total contempt for the Obama administration. Throughout the Iranian negotiations the Iranians have said that the Obama administration was lying and misrepresenting what actually occurred.
The Iranians want the record to be clear. The Obama administration was dishonest.

Because their test firing of missiles is noticed by every tracking agency on the planet. It canmot be kept secret. So Obama suggested they just stop gloating about it so the American media can ignore it. Gruberize the situation if you will. And Obama is learning that most everybody calls his bluffs nowadays because his bluffs have become so bad.
