On my interview day, we went up to Kehaha ridge to check out the radars up there that i would have been working with. A fine clear day. The views up there are spectacular out toward Niihau. Wish it would have worked out financially, think I would have loved the job.
Make that Makaha ridge, got mixed up with the nearby town. They have a complete SPS-48 air search radar as was fitted on cruisers for decades up there.
And the vets sweep!!!
