Didn’t ALL the candidates, not just Trump, sign a pledge saying they would not run 3rd Party if they lost the Republican nomination?

Its a case of ambition colliding with reality. He’s put in a lot of years in government and there’s an air of entitlement that I sense in him. He couldn’t accept the obvious fact that he was just not a competitive force in this race. His ambition kept him in the race for far too long.

In my opinion, he was too closely associated with, and talking constantly about, government “solutions” and his past roles in them. The voters have had enough of big government and life long politicians like him.

I heard that his father delivered mail to Lee Harvey Oswald.

Electing Hillary wouldn’t feel right either.

It would take a lot of money to run 3rd party and John has 2 years left as governor of OH. Why soil his name over something that would never pan out? He and Trump have huge policy differences, but, John isn’t one to be pushed around.

such arrogance. Only those dipped in the blood of Washington can figure out the inner workings of government. If that really is the case that’s a good reason to shred the system.

Kasich is an open borders socialist.

Yup. Another unpatriotic little puke who should be arrested for treason.

John Kasich is a uniter, not a divider. He can bring us together to solve America’s problems. Maybe that’s because his dad was a mailman.

Arrogance? No it’s a fact. And is the same in any large government .

Newt would be the equivalent of the dwarf or the eunuch from Game of Thrones to put it into perspective.

And trump would need the help even if he was educated in civics and how the Constituion, separation of powers, etc worked -— and he’s clearly unaware of even the basics.

Note this is not a anti-trump slam. It’s a candid recognition of one of his weak areas that he needs to get built up.

An apt description.

Only way this loser would ever ever be on a ticket would be as the Hildabeast’s running mate. He’s always been a closet democrat.

I like Newt but Trump needs to pick someone who could run after him and that ain’t Newt, he’s too old. He’ll be 73 in June.
