'Life is horrible': Syria's Christians fear total genocide
Fox News ^ | May 15, 2016 | Hollie McKay

Only a handful of mostly sick or elderly Christians remain in the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa, and Syrian Christians fear the forces that have brought that city’s population of Gospel followers to the brink of extinction could do the same for the entire nation.

An estimated dozen Christian families are still in the northern city, forced under threat of execution to convert, pay an “infidel” tax or go into hiding. Forbidden from leaving, they also face death from attacks directed at ISIS by Damascus, Russia and the U.S.-led Western coalition.

“We are trying to help them escape or stay safe, in hiding,” said Ayman Abdel Nour, executive director of Syrian Christians for Peace. “Their life is horrible. The people of Raqqa are being forced to live like it was 1,400 years ago.”

Obama started all this Syrian trouble, published estimates now place the murders at a half a million people!!!!!! and several million have had to run away, too

O did same to Libya, Somalia, and a couple more African countries, and he tried doing it to Egypt putting his IslamoNazi comrades pals and buddies in charge there (but fortunately the Egyptian people rose up and tossed the Muslim Brotherhood out)

O has soooooo much blood on his hands, and its no wonder most of the world hates America now

On the bright side for Syrian Christians, If Merkel, Cameron and 0bama get their way, all the murderous jihadists from Syria will soon be living in Germany, England and the USA, so the Christians may soon be the majority there.

That our country has come to this is heartbreaking.

Just terrible. And also that community includes Iraqi Christians who fled as refugees after 2003, only to find the horror pursued them.

Unbelievable suffering.

Here’s an idea: Turn the military loose in the Middle East on election night in November when/if Trump wins. No coup d’etat. Just let them loose and Trump will have their back. This will give him a chance to see which Generals he wants to keep.

There’s more. Those that kiss Obama’s behind can be directed to resign before Dec 31. That includes those female cadets at west point.

W’s invasion of Iraq destroyed the oldest Christian community in the Middle East. It works both ways. both parties have blood on their hands.

Sadly, that is true. And the role of the Assad regime in taking in Christian and other minority refugees has never been acknowledged. They opened the door for them, and saved many lives .... for a while. Until regime change in Iraq turned to regime change in Syria.

Have the Gulf States ever taken a single refugee?

Actually, our failing to protect the Christian community in Iraq is what destroyed it, not the overthrow of Saddam’s regime. Why we failed to do so, I don’t know. Maybe we were afraid of being called “Crusaders” or maybe we were afraid of being accused of pro-Christian bias or maybe we were just too damn afraid.

No wonder if the Donald gets elected, it will be considered a “breath of fresh air” for America and the world.

Never mind that. Everyone knows that the biggest human rights issue of our times is allowing transvestite men to use the ladies’ restroom. /sarcasm

I blame Obama. To read some posters on other threads, middle east turmoil is all Bush’s fault.
