A Domino's driver saved the life of a regular customer after staff became worried because he didn't place an order for 11 days.
Kirk Alexander suddenly stopped requesting regular pizza deliveries from his local shop in Salem, Oregon.
Staff were particularly concerned when he missed his usual Saturday night slot.
General manager Sarah Fuller said: "It was weird, and not like him at all."
She immediately sent a delivery driver to Alexander's house to check on him.
The employee found the television and lights on but there was no answer at the door – so Fuller called police.
She said: "I guess they could hear him inside, yelling for help. So they broke down the door and the paramedics got in and got him down to the hospital." Now the man, who has had minor strokes in the past, is recovering in hospital – and Domino's hopes he'll be ordering again soon.
It's not the first time the company's staff have gone above and beyond to keep their customers happy.

last I read it was 3 days. soon it’ll be a month. :)
I often get some great flounder and fries to go from a place across town but sometimes take a break for a couple of weeks and when I go back to pickup, usually the nice people at the counter ask where I’ve been.
