An Australian couple who lost three kids when Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 was shot down in 2014 has some happy news: they have welcomed a baby girl.
Perth parents Anthony Maslin and Marite Norris’ kids – Mo, 12, Evie, 10, and Otis, 8 – were flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when their plane was shot down by a missile over eastern Ukraine in July 2014. The three kids were killed, along with their maternal grandfather Nick Norris.

Thank you for this story. I remember feeling ill when this happened. That a family could lose all their children at once was too much to contemplate. So glad to see they have been able to have another child. Re: Putin.......Bizarro World, with the USA under Obama’s control. Evil is good, evil isn’t punished. I weep.

I don’t know how the parents got though this.I think the shock and grief would kill me.
There will never be a true investigation of whether this was a false flag to raise western action vs Russia ( a most logical reason for the series of events that led to,this)
Or a horrible operational blunder by ill,trained forces using weapons they should not have had ( and may not have legally acquired)

Please tell me you are being sarcastic. Otherwise, this has to be the dumbest statement I’ve heard this year. Pootin didn’t do it because he was 100s of miles away. He has an alabi! Lol
Did they ever catch the air traffic controller who directed the commercial passenger plane over the small war zone where two large military planes had been shot down at high altitude, well beyond the range of manpads?
Did you know that Ukraine and USA have also accidentally shot down passenger planes in the past? Do you feel these should also be prosecuted for their “crime”.

It would have taken only a very small expenditure of jet fuel to divert around the tiny war zone.
It is a fact that airline personnel swapped shifts with people to avoid what common sense told them were dangerous overflights.
Do you think a passenger plane was knowingly, intentionally shot down? If so, what was the motivation or benefit to them?
Or is it more likely that it misidentified as a military cargo plane, as had been shot down the week before.

And yes Putin was airborne, enroute back from a conference, his flight route was re routed Nirth if this region and some conspiracy rumors suggested the “ rebels” who downed the civil airliner either thought or were told that it was Putin’s plane
It’s really dumb to think the Kremlin would direct the shoot down of a civil airliner here, much less do it while Putin was so close to the same airspace
This aircraft was under Ukranian ATC and they sent it over this area despite known danger of “ rebel” attack
No fan of either side here even though obama state department picked sides and chose the noble freedom fighting Ukranians as the good guys -
Which in reading just a bit about how this govt came to power and what it has done to its inhabitants - is hard to swallow whole
more like yet another ill planned uprising to install another CIA puppet govt to tweak the Russians which has devolved into a civil war that has killed thousands
Picking out the good guys and who did what and why here is not as simple as shaking a fist at Putin and blaming him
Me either but there are enough stories of things like this that are extraordinary. Locally in the Toronto area a similar event happened when a drunk driver wiped out 3 children and their grandfather in a vehicle collision. The driver got a 10 year jail term but the devastated parents said after that they have a true life sentence. If you wish to read about it here is a link.
