Germany’s domestic intelligence agency has accused Russia of engaging in ongoing cyber warfare. The aim, he said, is both to steal information and carry out sabotage against its enemies — both real and imagined.

On Friday Hans-Georg Maassen, the head of Germany’s domestic intelligence agency (BfV) said that in the past year or so Russia had launched attacks against the German parliament, NATO members and French TV. […]

Germany’s lower house of parliament was attacked last year by a phishing tool named Sofacy, which is used by a Russian-based group called Pawn Storm. The hackers apparently wanted to steal personal and corporate data from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), and high-profile individuals, according to Trend Micro, a security research firm. …

I think I know what Vlad is doing!

Sensing weakness, he now herds millions of murderous Muslims toward Germany and has his Fellow Travelers agitate for their admission to Germany.

This will destroy Germany in a generation and Vlad won’t have to fire a shot!

Phising attacks may be fun and clever, but Vlad has the real plan to get rid of the Germans: just have the Muslim Mob overrun them, and call anyone who objects a Racist!

Note that Vlad don’t take no Muzzie Refuse, er, “Refugees” in his country.

Russia doesn’t need to do anything. Merkel is sabotaging Germany all on her own.

Yeah - and Russia also secretly smuggled into Germany over 1 million military-age males from Muslim nations, with a foreign, anti-Western ideology!

Oh wait... Nevermind.

So Merkel, reputed ex-Stasi informant, couldn't be a sabotage tool of and for the Russians? Remember, her parents (along with young Angela) voluntarily moved to the GDR in the '50s - that kind of commitment to communism must be strong in her psyche.

I'm starting to lean toward her being a 'sleeper' and now running the end game.

Germany’s domestic intelligence agency has accused Russia of engaging in ongoing cyber warfare. The aim, he said,

'He'? The German intelligence agency is just one guy? Well, that explains a lot...

Yeah, once the wall was up they were 'stuck' there, I guess. Happy as pigs in the mud, no doubt - didn't try to escape as many others did, at least.

And subsequently, from Merkel's wiki page: Later, at the Academy of Sciences, she became a member of the FDJ district board and secretary for "Agitprop" (Agitation and Propaganda).

All just fun and games, of course... /s

It's astonishing to me that the woman even has the privilege of holding office in Reunified Germany.

It's not like the DDR won the war.

An entire generation of Communist dupes regurgitating mindless Marxist twaddle has to die off before Germany has a prayer of being safe.

Is there any evidence she turned on the Soviets? That she had doubts about the entire system? That she agreed with the principles of the GDR?

It's mind boggling to me that she could even stand for office. She has the status of un-convicted Gestapo officer, just a different war. Why weren't there trials for her and her ilk, like Nuremberg?

Merkel started to rise up in the (western) CDU ranks after the fall of the wall in the ‘90s as a protégé of then-chancellor Helmut Kohl - the ‘chancellor of the reunification’ (’Helmut the Imbicile’ as he will be known in future sagas) - as a foothold for his party in the East (my best guess). Consider that as a sort of benediction, at least by the political establishment.

Arguably, she did well and appealed to the more conservative-leaning voters in the beginning.

And now, this.

Well, what are the options for an explanation? She suddenly went mad? A long-planned gambit? Probably needs some intensive water-boarding sessions to get to the bottom of the matter...
