We have a new Walmart, close by.
I’ll forego the convenience of Amazon ordering, for the time being, and order/have delivered to Walmart and shop more Mom and Pop/local stores.
FWIW, I tried calling Amazon, earlier today, to give them a piece of my mind about this...and they don’t have a phone number....only email contact.
I see I hit a nerve.

This morning when I discontinued my account, a phone number popped up, 800 number, so I dialed it, this lady asked why I was stopping my account, I told her I didn’t appreciate a business such as this getting into politics, and because of who owns the company and Washington Post, I wasn’t going to be a customer...she proceeded to tell me that these people that work for Amazon are like contracted out...I said I don’t want to be a member of this business...do I have to have my lawyer call you? She said no and hung up...a couple hours later, I checked to see if they had unsubscribed my account and they have...
I am going thru Barns and Noble now, but have done business with Wal Mart and they are very good...

I love Amazon.

Bezos deliberately bought the Washington Post (better called the Amazon Post now) to wage this war against those who would threaten to make Amazon collect taxes and make an anti-trust challenge to their business.
Part of the reason for using Amazon is that we consumers AREN’T taxed there. That said, announcing that they will “investigate” Trump and make no mention of investigating his opponent says it all. We can presume that Bezos has bought Clinton off on the tax issue.
If I were a stockholder I’d ask why he is devoting so much manpower to a task that can be accomplished by one decent fiction writer. Because, nowadays, you just lie. You tell people you can keep your doctor if you want to, that a Youtube video caused Benghazi, that there are moderates now in charge in Iran, etc. So why not just do a story saying that Trump burned Jews in ovens in the basement of Trump Plaza — or whatever it is you hope to “find” with your “investigation”—??
I like using Amazon too but they have to pay for this indulgence. There are other sites.
