I thought that Puerto Rico’s looming financial catastrophe was caused by irresponsible politicians spending money they didn’t have.
Now we find out it’s the intransigent republicans in Washington who won’t cooperate with democrats.
I think Republicans have a “winning hand” here:
Either the government of Puerto Rico accepts a limited bailout with an Oversight Board and vigorous prosecution of Puerto Rico’s Democrat fraudsters...
or...
Puerto Rico gets NOTHING!

Moreover, if Democrats in the Congress try to block passage of that simple solution: our money —> our oversight, then CALL THOSE DEMOCRATS OUT for their OBSTRUCTIVE GAMESMANSHIP!
