I’m here, SJB...This is good news. ( I voted for Cruz...Go Trump!)
The reason these guys despise Trump isn’t because they fear he’ll govern as a liberal. They’re worried he’ll govern as a conservative and force them to expose themselves as the RINOs/CINOs (conservatives in name only) that they truly are.
Not a big Trump fan, but thank you Mr. Trump clearing up all the BS we’ve suffered through for years.
One is enough, I suppose.
From what I read of the article (using the term article rather loosely since it was more of a compilation of twitter posts and images than any actual reporting or analysis of data), it appears that the word “conservative” does not necessarily mean what the Gateway Pundit thinks it means. The statements or positions that were compared as supported by Trump supporters vs GOP voters at large were not measures of conservatism/liberalism in general. The one issue that comes closest to being a measure of either economic or political conservatism was the issue of trade, and the protectionist/anti-trade position is a politically and economically liberal position.
