There are very deep and concerning reasons why this is very very bad.

Propaganda has it's own "That Was Easy" button from the internet and corporate controlled social media like Facebook, Twitter. Google deserves it's own story.

I think social media should be protected under the right to assemble and therefor all intellectual property owned by social media companies should be revoked.

Not because they're bad (they are) but because opinion should be open source and not restricted by intellectual property rights of Corporations.

Well the bottom line is that Facebook pushes liberal interpretations of the news. Anyone surprised by this???

Of course.

The Z-man is not bright. To quote Dirkbama the Muslim Dick, he was lucky.

To have the collection O-clowns that is Facebook is not to have an enviable legacy.

And indeed, for once, the Muslim Dick was correct.

It’s really bad because the vast majority of Millenials appear to get their news from social media newsfeeds, and nowhere else.

My own daughter had no idea that the Planned Parenthood Videos and Hillary’s email server WERE EVEN NEWS until I told her about them.

There is a word for news filtered through an agenda, it’s called propaganda.

I would far rather human beings with a political bias were picking the stories than some computer algorithm.

Be open! Discuss the bias! If you use FB at all, counter the bias with the stories you talk about.

Can’t Facebook be sued as a “utility” — something so ubiquitous and critical to new distribution, as to be a 1st Amendment violation? One analogy would be a paper company in 1920 denying paper to newspapers with a particular political position. That would have been crushed by any court. I bet more than 50% of traffic for news articles come from Facebook. It’s a utility. God, I wish I were a lawyer.
