Judge Wayne Salvant signed an order Wednesday reaffirming the probation terms he imposed on Ethan Couch in April. The judge canceled a hearing on the matter scheduled for May 16.
Salvant had ordered that Couch spend 180 days in jail for each of the four people he killed in 2013 when he rammed a pickup truck into a crowd of people helping a motorist. The sentences were to be served consecutively.

Yeah, that’s about 9.5 years short for each person.
Apparently, nada.
2 years of being someone’s girlfriend might help him.
Seems his parents also need some time away for the excellent job they did too.
AFAIK, mama’s case still hasn’t been heard and she’s out living the high life.
He gets six months for each person he killed and he’s whining about it.
He should be spending the rest of his life behind bars.
Unfortunately judges in Texas are elected and need lots and lots of campaign financing. So they can live in the style to which they want to become accustomed to.
Little Lord Fauntleroy should die looking at striped sunlight. As it is, he does not possess the mental maturity to meet the terms of his probation. Within a year or so of getting out of jail, he will violate the terms of his probation. Only THEN will he be sent to prison.
You nailed it. One false step on probation and he will be in prison sharing a bunk with Bubba the love machine, Dwayne the Nasty Rapper, or Juan More Time!
He had the ultimate Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free card, and messed it up. There is just no fixing that kind of stupid.
The rumor I saw here was that he fled a drug test because he knew he’d fail.
The absconding gave him time to clean out.
