https://theconservativetreehouse.com/ is an excellent site.
The point is that Ted Cruz trying to call attention to this issue is a distraction we cannot afford at this time. Cruz is trying to retain some press attention. There are so many important issues that Republicans, Independents and patriot Americans of many backgrounds can agree on, we should not encourage fragmentation of the party on hot button social issues that belong in the State purview in any case. We cannot enforce the laws that we might want to pass without bathroom monitors which would be an infringement on privacy & liberty and a step towards a totalitarian regime.

We can not afford to go haring after every rabbit that darts across our path. The party needs to elect its candidate and avoid Hillary. Any maneuvering that jeopardizes the election of the Republican candidate is an enemy action.

Cruz has shown he is willing to burn the farm if he can’t have it. Ryan is throwing hissy fits about his prerogatives. The Bushs & Romney are in snits. The bathroom issue needs to be handled by existing law and we need to work towards rebuilding our country and dismantling the PC nonsense that is corrupting our society.

This isn't your first election cycle, is it?

This is where all the big players in the party bargain for position and influence, using their supporters' voices as credibility. It's an opportunity for the standard-bearer to see which of their issues he'll have to adopt to get their people's enthusiastic support. It's in everyone's interest.

It's ironic that many of Trump's backers get offended by bargaining. As in The Art of the Deal.

I concur: It is a distraction at a critical time.
Understand me: I signed the boycott of Target, though I used to shop there. I intend to do more as a private citizen. That is what is needed: the private sector hurting these businesses via the free market.
I care deeply for the safety of little girls, but I also care for the nation as a whole. If we do not focus on the national level on saving the Republic from the globalists, then any short-term victory on something as specific as the bathroom issue will be short lived, and will be lost along with the entire nation.
