Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz, broke Sunday with GOP colleagues including ally Lindsey Graham by suggesting Republicans rally behind Donald Trump.

"You have to listen to people that have chosen the nominee of our Republican Party," the Arizona senator and 2008 GOP nominee said on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday. "I think it would be foolish to ignore them."

McCain recently said privately that with Trump as the GOP's nominee, his re-election chances this year in Arizona are in danger.

"This may be the race of my life," McCain said at an Arizona fundraiser in April.

McCain is just trying to save his job.
Much of his staff is opposed to Trump.

It will be interesting to hear his spin on why he was a member of the Gang of 8.

Absolutely, and at last call he has a fight on his hands in his primary too. That was evident last month when he issued a relatively strong PR about border security.

Arizona Voters: remember this adage, fool me once shame on you, fool we twice, shame on me. You failed to take this guy out at least two elections ago....don’t hesitate now.

McCain only bothers to listen when he’s up for reelection.

McCain’s advisors called him to the side and said, “John...You DO know you are up for re-election???”

McCain: “I am???”

“Yes, you are...You better try and salvage something here...”

McCain: “Ohhhh...OK!!!!”

Rihgt on!
How ANY of the political elite sleep at night is beyond comprehension.
They have been lying, cheating, covering up and voting raises for THEMSELVES for the last 16 years while they haul illegals and muslims in here and parasitize the middle income tax-payers in the private sector to support their voting base.

Yes, recall his conversion in his last primary?

Getting another six years term, the same old McCain returned in full stride.

Question is: Will the good people of AZ remember their two-face senator for he is?
