I grew up in this violence.
It’s all about drug turf. All of it is senseless. I had a childhood friend murdered because his older brother was a dope boy who was the actual target, but these pieces of shit will kill family members now all the same.
It’s highly localized to the neighborhoods caught in the crossfire, and it stinks. There are no jobs, and the only way out is through luck or sheer willpower.
