It usually doesn’t work out real well. Public transportation for easy access to shopping and medical providers isn’t readily available in many of these places. Town services and schools aren’t set up to provide the services inner city people are used to. A culture where folks call the police if laws are broken is a shock. etc

Also, it will dilute the political power of blacks if they spread them out among primarily conservative districts.

For many inner city dwellers, moving to an affluent suburb is a quick way for them or their children to end up in jail. Law enforcement is dramatically different than what they are used to.

But this fits right in with the “green urban planner groups” who want more mass transit and denser core centers - now in the suburbs - to spend that “almost free” Federal Mass Transit Money.

Modern streetcars for everyone!!

Buses are so 20th Century!
