SUGAR LAND, Texas (FOX 26) - UPDATE: 18-year-old Heather Clark's family made contact with FOX 26 stating that authorities previously reported that Clark had been found, when she'd actually only made contact with her family via a phone call.

Her family says that they are still concerned for Heather's safety, and state that she has not been found.

So, she made a phone call. Contents of the call not stated. She is over 18. Is she “missing” by choice?

Prayers up that she chooses to be elsewhere rather than in captivity or worse.

Sounds like she took off with a boyfriend the family doesn’t approve of from the Facebook page. They’ve gotten a Congressman to involve the FBI.

She decided to show daddy, now daddy will show them...

Unless she was recruited by an Internet con guy...

Worse than a “boyfriend”....

Her description includes 3 identifying tattoos. She just turned 18 and should still be in high school.

Looks to me that she snuck off with some boyfriend that her parents hate or that she didn’t want them to know about.

Tiny girl growing up fast.

Heather has been found.

This does NOT look like “she ran off with an unapproved boyfriend” narrative.......

Actually it does.

No one was arrested? Just a threat of that the “evil people” she was with will have their “ultimate day of reckoning”?

From what I understand, she ran off to Austin for several days with a guy and her parents literally made a federal case out of it involving the FBI and ex special forces.

Heather is not well and will need a lot of recovery? Naw, just give her some Gatorade and let her sleep off that hangover.

Talk about helicopter parenting...

Been gone since April 30, 2016. She’s 18 and she’s apparently made a choice to
vacate mom&pop’s house.
