Are not sinners today already driven far from the fold? Has Christianity ever been more effete, ineffective, irrelevant, and indifferent as it is today? It’s part of the reason why Islam holds more of an appeal to those seeking monotheistic spirituality...especially among young, Western males.
Lastly, you seem to argue that violent resistance against militant secularization (or just ungodliness in general) “displeases God”. There are just as many Biblical examples where it pleases Him.
