President Barack Obama on Friday called on Sen. Rand Paul to drop his “quirky” objections to pending international tax treaties so they can move forward in Congress.

Obama said the treaties will help U.S. authorities investigate and crack down on offshore tax evasion.

Paul has argued that they would infringe on Americans’ constitutional right to privacy because their tax data and personal financial information would be shared with other countries. Treaties cannot go into force unless ratified by the Senate, and the objection of any one senator halts action on legislative business pending in that house of Congress, as Paul has done in this case. …

Either they blackmail him with some dirt so he see things O’s way or or he will end up dead of natural or accidental causes. Can’t have any pesky congressman holding up treaties.

At least one republican in the Senate understands what he was elected to do.

The function of a citizen is not the fund their government.

So-called “progressives” are vile.

“...investigate and crack down on offshore tax evasion...”

Arrogant and twisted dictators like Obama think that NOBODY runs away from their treasonous overreach of excessive confiscatory taxation and regulation.

seems to me the only reason for new legislation is to create more bureaucracy.

There's already the KnowYourCustomer law that was established to:
“prevent banks from being used, intentionally or unintentionally, by criminal elements for money laundering activities.” as well as the Enhanced Due Diligence part of the Patriot Act https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Know_your_customer

What is so different that the new bill requires separate legislation?

" I want Obama tried and convicted of Treason!"

I want him tried, convicted, and executed for Treason! There is no statute of limitations for Treason, President Trump!
