That has nothing to do with how Trump will pick.

He’s taking a Democrat.

Gee, who am I gonna believe....Dr Ben or Saxxon Woods?

Neither.

I’ll wait until Trump, once again, wipes out the naysayers.

You make good points. I’m convinced Trump is looking for a Democrat.

But he won’t take a whacked out liberal, which narrows the field considerably.

I wouldn’t be surprised. Something is up, he changed his tune too fast and too much

C’mon, it’s time to have a little fun!

If he took a Dem, who would it be?

I don’t see Newt - too much baggage but I think Trump will use Newt as an advisor.

Sessions is a possibility.

You think, really, a democrat?

I dunno. Sounds more like Carson “wondering off the reservation” a little, (as Hillary likes to say). HA!

“Trump’s VP pick will be Jim Webb.”

Interesting pick. I watched Webb in the Dem debates and concluded he was more conservative than all but a small handful of the original 17 GOP opponents.

Sessions or a younger man, Stephen Miller.

I could live with a mixed ticket with Jim Webb and will try to remember your prediction. It would be better if there was an ideal candidate who is black or Hispanic. A few have been floated; I'd rather not have Ben Carson as VP. He has to think about carrying certain states, too. I really don't want Kasich but he could help carry Ohio which was key is one or two elections awhile back.

This whole thing could be a blowout like never before or he could meet his Waterloo. I hope he plays Hillary right. Too rough with her, and her loyal fans will get furious, and there is no fury like a woman scorned.

If it's to be Jim Webb and he's amenable, Trump better lock him in before Hillary does.

Trump is not my idea of a true conservative. He could almost have run as a Dem, and I'm not sure why he didn't. I'm more flexible than some and support him on almost everything though.

“Trump says he’ll name running mate at convention”

Well, that IS how it’s normally done.

Trump’s VP pick will be Jim Webb.

From the article:

Trump has said he intends to pick a Republican....

Webb is not a republican.

Think it would be wrong to pick a Dem....there are good qualified Republicans that worked hard for Trump and stuck their necks out...

How about Ivanka? Even though she’s not registered as a Repub or Dem. Bipartisan ;-)

Nope...they can’t be from the same state, right?

Trump couldn’t run as a Dem given his “build the wall” position.

If Trump were to take a Democrat, Webb is the best I can think of to take.

If he takes a Republican, he has to be very careful or he could hurt his outsider mystique.

And don’t worry about remembering my prediction, I’ll rub it in mightily if I’m right.

Let’s hear the other guesses. Newt, Sessions...

I like Jan Brewer, but I’m not predicting because of who I like. I’m trying a very hard thing, predicting what the unpredictable Trump will do.

We should start a pool.

Trump does a lot of surprising things and changes his mind a lot.

I predict his pick will be a shocker and Webb fits the bill.

Yes, the wall and immigration. I knew that. Good points, all the rest. Chuckle on your 4th sentence. But I miss things here so you had better ping me if it comes true. I won’t put money on betting anything though.

I agree 100%. I just thought the notion of Jim Webb was “interesting”.
