And a lot of the illegals are paid under the table, so the worker and employer aren’t paying payroll taxes.

It’s like the old example of the government breaking windows to stimulate the economy. Trump wants to do away with some broken windows so they blame him for it.

Interesting but raising taxes on industry and the middle class at Bernie Sanders rates will have a positive affect on the GDP? The millions of unemployed U.S. citizens will not take these jobs?

Trump is going to stimulate the economy the right way, not with criminal invaders that the Uniparty prefers.

Yeah that is one prediction Scott Adams is going to get wrong.

There would be no reason to build a wall if that is what Trump was planning.

I used to have a residency in Singapore. I could live there but once every 3 months I had to take a shopping trip to Malaysia (You can walk across the border) or I was an illegal immigrant. I could not not just visit the US consulate. This is common immigration practice in many places. You never get to simply enter a consulate (US Territory) and come back out with a right of abode. Period, never happened that I know of in the History of the world.

The other issue with your statement is that you assume - without evidence - that Trump is consciously lying about this issue. That he has some deep, devious plan to swindle the people that vote for him. What would he possibly gain by that? At this point such an assertion makes no sense.

Remember also not all illegals are from Mexico. How many consulates can you put in a post office?. These temporary consulates would have to staffed. It would be impossible to find that staff.

Trump wants the gang-bangers, the criminals, the loafers, drunkards and malcontents gone. The illegals will have to go back to wherever they came from or possibly some third country to apply for reentry. Those with no criminal record can then apply for an expedited work permit with no path to citizenship. That is Trump’s plan.

That plan was written by Senator Jeff Sessions. So, is Jeff Sessions a devious liar in league with Trump? Or has Trump fooled Jeff Sessions? Or are you desperately trying to find a reason to not vote for Trump?

Trump isn’t a Hillary plant. He isn’t some crypto socialist hoping to get a democrat elected. He isn’t trying to fool people into thinking he is not part of the Cheap Labor Express.

The study added that removing those workers could leave potentially millions of jobs unfilled due to a lack of legal workers willing to do them. Industries with the highest share of undocumented workers include farming, construction, and hospitality, according to the research.

No, it'll mean that employers will have to pay more for the legal workers to fill the jobs. It's called supply and demand.

These ‘think tanks’ and their studies are a dime a dozen. They crank out one of these ‘studies’ whenever it seems to suit them. They are always tilted to give results skewed to their agenda. How remarkably quick they are on this one...and how obvious.

"Are we really saying that deficit-funded “growth” is real?"

That growth is paid for by an increasing debt we will pay on forever ... and never pay off.

That’s 2% off the 6% increase he’ll get simply by not being Obama.

I submit this is an inaccurate study. They have not considered the reduction in unemployment roles as legal immigrants and citizens return to work and the huge savings from reducing medical, food stamps, welfare, and everything else for these freeloading foreigners!

They have missed an important point.

The population of the US is ~318 million people. If we deport 11 million illegals we reduce the population by 3.45%. Now if this causes a reduction in GDP of 2%, the 98% of the remaining GDP is now distributed among 96.55% of the original population.

Per capita GDP increases by 1.5%.

Far from being a negative, the remaining people (citizens and legal immigrants) are, on average, 1.5% better off. And, remittances (money sent to relatives and friends in foreign countries) drop precipitously. This fact alone improves our balance of payments and our economic health.

“That growth is paid for by an increasing debt we will pay on forever ...”

No we cannot increase debt forever. So the question is, to what level does the GDP revert when we no longer have deficit spending - either because we act deliberately, or because the markets force it upon us?

As an example - we saw the markets crap the bed when the measliest of rate increases occurred signalling that the Fed was no longer going to actively support the market. The music was restarted after everyone realized that the only thing keeping the market going is direct involvement of the Fed....in an election year it won’t stop. Of course if Trump wins in November, it will be immediately followed by a stock market crash “proving” trump will be a disaster for the economy.

There's no appreciation in this study for the fact that the $2,000 in benefits Non-Worker A is getting is BORROWED money. They're not considering that that money has to be paid back and comes OUT of the economy at some point.

No, see, that's where you don't get it! Let me explain the liberal economic mindset: that money simply comes out of a printing press, it's never removed from the economy. In fact, it only goes INTO the economy! See, it's really clear once you understand liberal economics!

Precisely. I hope Trump plans to cut 10 times the amount of waste from the federal government as he has eluded to. It is the primary thing preventing America from being great again.
