Do you know if there is a pro-life ping list?

My recollection... and please understand that I am old... is that he brought up cervical cancer screenings.

I'm not going to be drawn into a PP debate, but I lost my mother to a woman's cancer.

The finest person I've ever known lived a very hard year after her diagnosis, and begged me to kill her for a week before the end mercifully came.

"Conservative" or not, I find no fault in a man who is trying to prevent that happening to other families.

He's the nominee. Let's give him credit that this may signal that he intends to be pro-life. I don't know this fellow's track record, but it is certainly suggested that he is the real thing.

Marjorie Dannenfelser is no lightweight. She is the real thing as a pro-lifer. She is also, IIRC, a former Democrat Congresswoman from western Pennsylvania who was defeated by pro-abort Democrat defections over her being pro-life.

In suggesting this man to Trump, she is probably getting a rare and welcome opportunity, as a pro-life Democrat, for some payback against Comrade Grandma for being the leader of insane pro-aborts in the Demonrat Party.

In accepting her advice, Trump has laid down an important building block for pro-life credibility. Actions speak louder than words. He has acted.

BTW, I feel a lot more comfortable being on the same side as you both than being in opposition. Hopefully, you will find me as good an ally on Trump through November as I have found you on almost everything other than Trump in the past.

Looks like he wants to solidify the base. Good move.

Hmmm. I wonder what this means relative to Stephen Miller, who is Trump’s “Senior Policy Advisor.”

Thank you for providing this context.

Many of us... well, I'll speak only for myself... are less connected to some of the major grass-roots organizers of conservative causes.

You're obviously much more informed. I wasn't sure whether this was a big deal or not. Apparently it is.

I agree with you. Had you heard Mr. Trump wants to make the National Convention really great and inspiring? He is very disappointed in our last two national conventions.

Add to this showy convention plan of his, all these political fastballs he’s already throwing straight down the middle, it could all culminate in a pretty rousing event at Convention, to catapult him into a position of strength for the final lap, of hand to hand combat with Hillary, to the finish line.

God be with us.

I trust D. Trump to hire only the best for EVERY position that needs a new hire.

I also trust him to help those that are not the best for the position they hold to "move on".

You nailed it again, TK!

It was the cancer screenings, to be exact, that were included in Mr. TRUMP’s mention of the PP preventative and early detection services, he seemed to believe are common in all these neighborhood community clinics.

Amen, dearest friend. Amen.

You are a sweetheart and a sage.

I have had no illusions that Mr. TRUMP has been a secular man, and I believed him when he said in a very old interview that having been raised in New York he realized his more liberal opinions would be different from those in, say, Iowa.

He seemed genuinely affected by his routine proximity on Sundays to Norman Vincent Peale and his sermons, saying he didn’t want to leave the church, but could listen to him on and on.

His career taking off likely stunted his spiritual growth, alright, but there was something planted there that seems to have kept him pleasantly attached and open to his basic Christian upbringing, even if it is but an affection for a warm and distant family memory of spending Sundays with his loved ones.

It’s a stone to build on, in my prayers for mercy, for him and for myself and all God’s people, those in His fold now and those to come.

Thank you for hanging in there with us, enduring the trials and the festivals. :)

God be with you and your dear ones. Amen.

Please forgive me for my tardy reply, dearest Black Elk.
I’m taking time today to reply to my pings.

I am very pleased with Mr. Trump’s selection of this former-elected-PRO-LIFE-Democrat, Marjorie Dannenfelser (PA).

He’s no dummy, that’s for sure and Marjorie Dannenfelser is the real deal.
