Conservatives have for this past generation been let down by folks who talked a good game but never could defend a solid ethos that they could use to clobber the Left. It always came off as reactionary and far too often, yea, they internalized or accepted arguments the Left would create.
Now we’re seeing some smarter right-wingers who know how to use humor and philosophy to smash the Left.
The right wing punditry has failed and has no one to blame but themselves.
