I do like her very much. She may be the only Dem I like and respect. Thank you for expanding on her background.
I know a little bit about her due to her being Hindu (as am I) and I lived in HI years and years ago. I signed up for a newsletter her father put out in snail mail days, mid/late 80s, the same time frame when I used to get “The Conservative Chronical” in fact.
She got married not too long ago and her husband is unbelievably handsome and a non-political private man.
Also - I remember when she stood up to Dems regarding 0bunghole, I found several interviews on TV (I don’t have one, I watchedon youtube) and she dissed 0bung pretty soundly) and condemned the administration for refusing to call ISLAMIC jihad ISLAMIC and said you can’t fight the enemy if you refuse to name the enemy. Very, very pointed. I believe that got her in hot water with the Dems.
