Newt is still leading in the polls.
Another good thing about Newt, he forced Clinton to balance several budgets, and end welfare as a way of life.

Also, he knows everything negative about the Clintons.

But for political rookie Trump Newt knows every parliamentary trick in the book to game a bill thru congress.

Newt is an expert on entitlements, which are most of the budget, if you can’t cut them you never get the deficit down.

Newt would be ok with me but Georgia is not a big swing state. And Newt is not likely to help Trump overall. If you remember Clinton used Newt as a punching bag in the 1996 election and it worked. They know how to make him look like the devil.

Trump says he’s not going to cut entitlements. I think that Trump might find that Newts ideas tend to clash with his own. It might be hard to see which of them is the straight man.

You may be right. Newt would bring much valuable experience to the table. He is respected and trusted.
