I love Newt but don’t want him for the VP nod. A major part of Trump’s appeal is as an outsider. Newt, fair or not, is perceived as the ultimate insider. I think Newt would make a much better chief of staff used to deal with congress.

Two old white men would kill the ticket. That goes for Kasich too and others. Trump needs either Rubio or some other young preferably Hispanic candidate who can campaign with the same fire as Trump.

-Newt is such a rebel he is not considered an insider at all. Trust me, its the main reason why Romney/McCain/BobDole wont want him.
