What law gives the President the power to impose 35% tariffs on companies "moving jobs out of the country"?
Under the Trade Act of 1974, specifically Section 301, it would appear there is plenty of authority for doing just that:
Creating an unstable business environment would discourage investment and reduce employment.
The business environment is already 'unstable' and nobody needs any reminders about our reduced and
under employment situation.
