...time to unite in the effort to stop Hillary...

Absolutely agree! But, there's going to be some hurt feelings for awhile, before everyone comes to their senses.

Watched FreeRepublic on Facebook last night and a number of (so called) Cruz Freepers saying they'd rather vote for Hillary than get behind Trump. Sad...

What I really don't want to see is people staying home, like they did for Romney, and get Hillary elected.

Yep - what's even sadder, is that I have been slapped at by a Trump supporter who misinterpreted my call to stop the senseless mud slinging as indication I'm upset that Cruz got beat.

Explained it in-depth and got the same insane response - at least he's for the right guy - just stupid or comprehension-challenged...

Such stupid people are the reason why the country is in such a mess. But they could be GOPe types letting their true feelings show. The GOPe would rather lose to Hillary or any democrat than win with someone not in their little club.

What I really don't want to see is people staying home, like they did for Romney, and get Hillary elected.

I really can't see that happening, in 2012 Romney was such a milquetoast candidate, he choked in that second debate and there was nothing to really get excited about.

Romney & Ryan? About as inspiring as a mashed potato sandwich, with a large side order of RINO droppings.

But we all put on our game faces, and gave it a good shot because the alternative of Emperor Barky having another 4 years to destroy our Nation was totally unacceptable. But in the end, Romney proved to be just as big a loser as his father was in '68. It was "his turn" and he blew it.

In my opinion, this time around Trump will be able to easily compensate for any voters with hurt feelings on the Republican side who want to sit it out, with NEW voters coming from the old Reagan Democrats and their descendants, the embittered Bernie supporters who will refuse to vote for the Hildabeast, NEW voters who had been indifferent to the political process but have been reeled in by Trump, who has amassed more votes in any Republican primary process in the past 100 years.

Right up until Election Day 1980, the libtard media was mewling that the election between Carter and Reagan was "too close to call", Newsweek had actually prepared three possible covers, one showing Carter rolling his sleeves up for a second term, one with the Seal of the Presidency ripped in two (suggesting an electoral deadlock and the Congress having to elect the President), and finally the one showing Reagan victorious.

We'll be hearing all sorts of ominious predictions and the chicken littles wailing about the sky falling, but I predict that everyone will be stunned in a *YUGE* way when the Trump landslide manifests itself this coming November.

ANYone with a modicum dose of attention should see that America has been voting by an increase of about 20% compared to previous elections

The whole "people staying home" meme is asinine

Ain't NOBODY stayin' home.

Not most of us. I am eager for Trump to disprove my skepticism. His off the cuff speech last night was a good start and properly gracious.

Give some of the other Cruz guys a chance to cool off. I felt a lot better once I decided to judge Trump only by what Trump says, NOT his most fire-breathing supporters, which EVERY decent campaign has.

That's the candidate's problem and responsibility.

There is a line of thought floating around that the RNC wants to lose, not just because it shares cronyism with DEMs (although that's at rock bottom), but also to teach the conservatives who use Trump as a vehicle, a lesson that won't be forgotten for a generation. The Goldwater example is brought up. "Run a Limbaugh-conservative, got your ass kicked" sort of event. I mention that just as a sort of "beware snakes in the grass," The party is not Trump's ally in fact, but you can bet it will put on a good act.
