I hope his concession included a Supreme Court nomination.

Trump has proven himself the master. The rest of the GOPe pack will cease its growling and—as they routinely do for Democrats—roll over on their backs.

"People are trying to save their economic lives...if not their lives period. They’re trying to save their country from becoming a part of some weird internationalist system that benefits only the uber-wealthy and the politicians who are their clients. Ideology is very yesterday, survival is today. And so many people in the system or around it just can’t see it even though it’s staring them in the face."

Very well stated. It's what I see happening too.

“Will not vote for Trump under any circumstances.”

Clean up in aisle 1, please!

So exhausted reading the screeds from those who make it perfectly clear where they stand!

If Clinton gets elected, you can see the future of our country clearly by looking at the state Europe is in. And that’s just the beginning.
==

Much worse.
Europe will be ruled by Sharia law in 50 years.

Western democracies with law and culture based on Judeo-Christian values have basically run the world. With the U.S. leading. As these values weaken so does freedom and security.

What happens when the plans of the likes of Obama and Hillary to flood this country with collectivist, and they breed multitudes more, who do not understand or desire our culture and human rights? They win elections.

Remember ending the Judeo-Christian west’s influence on culture and law is the real goal of these globalist, the U.S. is the standard bearer, if we fall to collectivism, who’s left.

To be replaced by what?

Collectivist state Soviet style? Could it happen?

Soviet style gulags, for those who don’t tow the collectivist line?

How can it not, collectivism always needs enemies, it’s never satisfied. And will lead to a downward spiral of rights and freedoms, except those solidifying the collectivist state and it’s elites.

This election may be the last one that will make a difference, and we’re gonna find out who the real Americans are.

“And he had more votes against him than any nominee ever.”

Really? More than Yeb!, or Cruz or Carson or Fiorina or Chrisie or Kasich or Paul?

>>they simply can’t grasp what is happening around them.

Now they know how we feel when we send GOP majorities to both houses of Congress and they keep voting as if they are the minority party.

Now they know how we felt when Romney refused to call out Crowley in the debate or when McCain told us that Obama would be a good president during the election.

Now they know how I felt when my job got moved to Mexico in 1997 due to NAFTA or when a coal-fired power plant gets shut down in the US.

“Calling for party unity - should have thought about that before all the personal insults.”

Someone insults you so you vote for Hillary?? What a precious little snowflake.

And Cruz received more than any other republican candidate ever except trump.

The “more votes ever” data is simply the result of the primary dragging out almost to the convention. Normally the campaign is over in a month or so. Once over, no one bothers to vote.

Just for example when Texas came up 4 years ago, I showed up and was one of 10 or so people who voted that day. This year, there was a line out the door.

In short, there are lies, damn lies, and statistics.

The thinking they are using is it is often better to oppose a tyrant of the other party than a tyrant in your own. That way, opposition can be forcible and clear, without conflicting messages.

If you have a liberal “republican” like McCain, Dole, Romney, or trump you muddle the issue and opposition to their nonsense is actually harder.

Anyone a good artist?

I have this vision for an editorial cartoon

Caption:

In the valley of DC

In the foreground you have a bunch of dinosaurs eating the foliage. They have various labels like Political Consultants, Professional Politian, Lobbyists, Journalist, etc.

High in the air coming straight at them is a flaming ball with Trumps face, his hair the flames.

The Journalist dinosaur says to the political consultant dinosaur

“Hey, did you just hear something”?
