Rep. Todd Young (R-Ind.) is projected to win the Indiana GOP Senate primary, beating back an insurgent challenge from Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R-Ind.).
The Washington Post and Indianapolis Star called the race shortly after polls closed at 7 p.m. Eastern.
Young will face off with former Democratic Rep. Baron Hill in November for retiring Sen. Dan Coatss (R-Ind.) seat.

I guess the “anti-establishment” Trump voters were not enough to put the real conservative, Stutzman, over the top.
Boo.
Although Stutzman sure didn’t help himself down the stretch.
Stutzman didn’t define his message out very well. I voted against Young more than for Stutzman.
Conservatives would have done themselves more good concentrating on this race than on the presidency.
Well Beck was 0 for 2 tonight
stutz was the deciding yes vote for the budget, thanks and goodbye
Not good news but the Trump victory cannot be over-shadowed by this one.

A thing I just wrote but still can’t believe: Not a single Republican member of Congress has lost a primary in 2016, the year of Trump.”
GOPe is having a great campaign season.
I was going to vote for Young but then read he sided with Boehner so I voted for Stutzman.
Stutzman and other candidates should have gambled & endorsed Trump instead of playing safe with “Cruz or Trump”.
Stutzman only got 25 to 35% last time he ran in a 3 way primary.

The Cheap Labor Express will continue to dominate the Senate, oh well......
