I guess we could have 49 states for Mrs. Bill and just WV for Trump!
Her tone was both deliberate and mean....and like she had some great power to do so.
That flip may have caused her another concussion and hopefully we won’t see nor hear from her for a few weeks while she recovers.
She's not used to being confronted over anything, much less something she told another of her far-left constituent groups.
From what I heard, Hillary did not apologize. She said her comments were ‘misunderstood’. I’m sure she expects her brain-dead voters to swallow that lie without question.
Cough cough cough cough. I wasn’t feeling well. Don’t be mean to a woman. Cough cough cough.
“a rare candid moment”
This was not a candid moment by any means. This was just a phony politician telling someone what he wanted to hear.
It was not sincere.
Going out on a limb here, but I cannot stand that creature.
I’ll bet she carries a few lumps of coal in her purse too...
TOO LATE HILLARY!!!
Hillary doesn’t give a guano about the coal industry or coal jobs. Her 47% base don’t have jobs. Don’t even want jobs. Her campaign will receive millions from anti-coal de-industrialist Marxist warmists.
Hillary was just echoing Obama, almost word for word. .....did I hear Obama and election fraud mentioned?
Hey Hillary...Keith Judd is running against you!
In 2012 he got more than 42% against Zer0!
Real headline should be: Hillary Clinton realizes that West Virginia just might be needed come election time...
Also, I do appreciate Hillary’s actions - means that my Kerry flip flops have new life! I can start taking them to Hillary rallies to applaud with...
You can’t put the genie back in the bottle, the toothpaste back in the tube, and the words you speak back in your mouth..................
She’ll flip right back.
After she has told America that “we will take things away from you for the common good.”
That guy’s job likely to be one thing which succumbs to her demented concept of “common good”
Mr. niteowl77
Well, it was sort of a 1/2 or 1/3 or 1/4 or 1/5 apology:
"I don't know how to explain it other than what I said was totally out of context for what I meant because I have been talking about helping coal country for a very long time," Clinton said. "It was a misstatement because what I was saying is the way things are going now, they will continue to lose jobs. It didn't mean that we were going to do it. What I said is that is going to happen unless we take action to help and prevent it."
Note that she led with the how can I explain it so you'll understand and I was taken out of context before saying that she "misspoke."
Then she moved on to saying that it's "how things are going now" without any acknowledgement that "things are going" that way now because of what the Democratic administration has been doing.
So, yeah, she wasn't saying "me loves to put coal miners out of work" but that's the effect of the policies she supports and the policies she'll impose.
